As far as different headstocks, just like on a regular Les Paul, you have either a Les Paul Standard headstock, or the Les Paul Custom headstock with the diamond inlay. Shapes should be identical and consistent, though. Any off-looking shapes should be avoided, as you might be looking at a counterfeit guitar. Hope this helps!
