I'm here to ask help to understand if the model I own went out the plant like it is now or has been modified . I'm talking about a Les Paul model in sapphire midnight blue ( I think looking at newer models ) with a strange pickup configuration : HH SS HH , with 5 positions switch, one volume and one tone knob, and a split selector that changes the bridge HH into SC when selected in 2nd position . I tried to search for the serial trhough a web tool and it seems coming from Nashville. Does it look like this That's a LP Studio Lite M3 If you want more info, send pictures of the guitar front and back (and close ups of headstock front and back) along with the serial number to Gibson Customer Service and they should be able to tell you if its factory spec or not...
