The Performer ME is definitely a thing of beauty; Cougar did a great job packing and shipping. I thought the nanomag pickup would require electric guitar strings so I put a set of Slinkys on, but now it sounds kind of bass-heavy so maybe bronze is the right solution after all. I've asked Shadow a question from their support site, hopefully will hear back soon.
