SHRED MASTER
Hey does anbody know any info about the Kramer Focus guitars? I actually won this guitar in a contest and it was just sent to me.Its the H/S/S pickup config. It has a Maple neck and fretboard. What is the body made of?Is it Basswood or Alder?I got the neck checked and it was nice and straight.I had action lowered and the frets filed since they were alittle sharp on the outside edges. Im going to up-grade the humbucker p/u to a duncan 59/custom hybrid. And the single coils to SD cool rails I believe. What is the STOCK humbucker in this thing? mirrorboy
I believe the current Focus model is a special produced exclusively for Guitar Center. I'd try asking GC first and, failing that, Kramer.

sparquelito
Kramer just describes it as 'tone-woods'. Which could mean alder, maple, mahogany, or Chinese pine. I wouldn't worry about it. If it sounds good, plays well, and stays in tune, it may as well be crafted from Mongolian Cedar. Just play it and love it. :)
