Malcolm Young Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 Have a recently purchased 1905 L-1 being shipped from US to Australia. Shipper (MyUS.com) claims they need to file a US Fish and Wildlife Services (USFWS) Form 3-177 at a cost of $195 because, in their opinion, the guitar contains Mother-of-Pearl (MOP). I question their ability to detect MOP and I don't believe USFWS is interested either. But most of all, I tend to doubt the guitar has any MOP on it anyway.
