Motownmaniac
What are everybody's thoughts on the 2008 (I believe) Les Paul GT? It has 490R and 490T humbuckers, split coil function, and infamously/famously the ghosted flame finish.
Jon S.
Awesome guitar! You don't see them too often.
GibSinCity
Picked one up in Daytona Blue last year similar to this one. Heavy, and built like a tank. Satin finish sides and back. Thicker, 50's style neck with brushed aluminum style inlays on an Ebony fretboard. Dual truss rods for neck stability. Comes stock with Tone Pros hardware. Totally independent volume knobs even with pickup selector in the middle position. Coil-splitting on both pickups. High pass filter on volume controls. Pickups are 490R and 498T. Locking Neutrik jack keeps your cable plugged in until released with button. Also, the flames look brighter in photographs than they do in person. *Edit 6/172016 I believe they also did a run of the SG Standards in the "GT" style. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-les-paul-gt-electric-guitar Gibson Les Paul Standard GT http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-sg-gt-electric-guitar Gibson SG GT Electric Guitar
