Lobomov Posted June 18, 2016 Share Posted June 18, 2016 Hi all .. Just a quick question. I used to own a 2010 SG standard. I loved everything about it except that the neck was too wide for my taste, so I sold it. I see that Gibson with the 2016T SG standard have returned to the batwing with the 490R/498T pickup combo that I much prefer to the classic 57s. But I cant seem to find out if the new 2016T also has returned to the wide necks of the old models or if they kept the slimmer profile of the recent years. Unfortunately I can only find them online, so I cant test drive it myself before ordering.
