Carefully inspecting it right out of the box, I was pleased at the quality and attention to detail. It's effin beautiful! The only real flaw, minor as it is, is a bit of sloppy black paintwork around the F holes (only noticeable up close). A new set of strings, a bridge adjustment and it was quite playable. The nut is just a bit high and will require a tweak. The P90s sound really good; nice and chimey; will require some pole piece adjustments to dial them in. The size and weight of this thing is just perfect; weighs less than six pounds! Much more comfortable than the Dot Studio it replaced. In 1965, my first good guitar (long gone) was a Gibson ES-330.
