In questi giorni, mentre abbrustolisco sotto il sole della Sicilia, mi passano strane idee e domande per la testa... Mi servirebbe un vostro parere: secondo voi i mini hb (quelli che monta la LP Deluxe per intenderci) e i p90 (i classici "soapbar") hanno le stesse dimensioni? Mini-humbucker mounting rings were originally made out of unused P90 covers, so that they would fit the P90 sized hole in a guitar. The mini-humbucker is smaller than a P-90, but with the mounting ring it fits nicely in the same routed hole. A lot of 1970's Les Paul DeLuxe guitars were modified to have a P90 and a mini-humbucker configuration, which requires no woodworking: ...and it also works the same for the modern guitars: Firebird pickups also work as they are the same dimension as mini-humbuckers. Infatti, sotto al ring lo scasso è tipo HB (quindi diciamo che ha i due lati ovali, non è uno scasso rettangolare perfetto), dovresti quindi cavar via del legno e dopo non avresti più l'appoggio per il ring Firebird. Just found a 1999 LP Deluxe at a good price and in excellent conditions, but of course it has Mini Hb's, so was wandering if I could switch to the p90's without doing any type of routing/wood working. Grazie Rick! ;) Ma, come leggerai nella risposta che ho scritto all'altro utente, il lavoro che dovrei fare riguarda proprio una Les Paul... Non ci ho ancora messo su le zampe, devo andare a vederla e provarla... Ma l'idea mi sta stuzzicando parecchio! Dopo aver provato la SG 2016 coi p90 di un amico ci stavo facendo sul serio un pensiero, ma ho già avuto in passato una SG (standard) e l'ho venduta proprio perché sbilanciata... The mechanism for adjusting the height of a P90 sits underneath the pickup, where PAF / full size humbuckers and mini-humbuckers are on the side. The mounting bracket is a simple bar that sits at the base of the cavity, into which the P90 screws are threaded. Grazie per l'info! ;) Facendo una ricerca su internet riguardo alle dimensioni dei 2 tipi di pu, mi risulta che il p90 sia leggermente più largo del ring dei mini hb (circa 2 decimi di mm). La chitarra in questione è una Deluxe del '99, devo ancora andare a vederla, e a questo punto vedrò di misurare i pick up in modo da non avere sorprese. Alla peggio potrei ripiegare su una Special che ha già i p90 di serie ma... Questa è più bella Ti racconterò ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Se il manico non ti infastidisce, butta un occhio alle 2015..con 450 ne stavo per portare a casa una usata come nuova, e sul nuovo molti sconti..) Tempo fa ho provato la Special del 2001 di un amico, niente male! E recentemente ho provato una Junior del 2010... È da lì che mi sono preso bene per i p90!
