Myself, I love the sound of Fender (classic single coils) guitars more than any other guitar. I used a Strat exclusively (for electric gigs) for 20 years.
A Les Paul? It handles better.

Even if yourehard core Les Paul there are different LPs. There is no such thing as "the" LP.

now in my 30s I feel completely different and it's all about Gibson for me. There is always of course room for a strat and a telecaster in my collection.
