briandoyle
My headstock model has of course a hum. single.hum configuration. I've used this guitar as my go to since 1997.It has ruined me for other guitars..it needs work but I am worried about changing the way it plays etc...is there any special wiring I have to worry about and are they stock pickups? Hi Brian (?), it's hard to tell if "they" (pickups) are stock without seeing a pic of your guitar. I'd say 95% of all GS-7T and GS-7Z guitars have a n EMG 89 / SA / 89R configuration as a standard, like this one: GS-7TA. However, I own one which came originally with passive pickups: GS-7TH. For the EMG version I once made a drawing of the wiring (same as on a GM-7), which I could dig out if required. Bernd
