Chuckster Posted August 27, 2016 Share Posted August 27, 2016 Really embarrassed to admit this.....but I just 'plugged-in' my 2008 EJ-160E (which I purchased new in '08) this past week. Evidently something's up with the mini-humbucker pickup.....the first three strings come through the amp while the 4th, 5th, and 6th don't. Could this be a defective pickup...or a 'wiring snafu'? I suggest contacting the dealer where you purchased it to have them arrange for warranty work on it. Or, searching the Gibson/Epiphone website for the list of authorized repair persons on it and then contacting one closest to you to arrange for the repair. Hope this helps.
