hu3436 Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Hi guys just wanted to show you my DR100 with Shadow pick-up installed. With hindsight i may have gone for an Epiphone with electrics and a cutaway for higher fret access, but i decided to stay put and learn on my first guitar by modifying it to take a pick up. The SH141 has no adjustment, but is loud enough and its relatively quiet (just the faint sound of air) but is mainly affected by what quality cables you use and your amp. I had to drill into the laminate where the rear strap button used to be to fit the jack input, i asked a joiner and was told a spade bit would be better on laminate than a drill bit, he was right.
