MulliganAl
from your current Memphis ES and in what way is it different from your Memphis? I just got my first Memphis ES and it is such a thing of beauty that I may be developing a bit of GAS for Gibson guitars after having lusted after Fenders (still love my Tele though) for so many years. Wondering which other Gibson would sit well with these two at some point in the future?
dReit1
I've always admired the Les Paul ES. But the 2 I've played of the current run have not impressed me at all. They look OK sound alright plugged in but flat & listless without an amp. NWTB in my world.
brantobrien
Perhaps a 330 with P90's. Blend between humbuckers and single coil.

Wondering which other Gibson would sit well with these two at some point in the future? What happened to the '58 RI you ordered? The pictured ES is also nice, and I'd certainly not say no to a 345, but my choice right now would be a VOS '58 RI 335. Currently have a 1991 Howard Roberts Fusion III which I will not sell, but that's not officially an ES, and it was made in Nashville.
badbluesplayer
I have a 335 and I'd love a 125. Nothing plays like plywood! [thumbup]
Versatile
ES330 and ES225.... IMO the other side of the coin ES-wise The ES330 is the nearest to a 60's American Casino available today And the ES225 is an inspired archtop with underwound P90's enabling it to handle the P90 ethos with subtlety V
SteveFord
I have a 335 Satin and a Lucille, if I were to buy another one it would be the Luther Dickinson 335 as it has a Bigsby and P90s. If I were forced to buy two other ES guitars, I'd go with a Trini Lopez just because of the looks.

Mojorule, this has been a long process for me since unfortunately I've been buying without being able to see or play the guitars. I had to return the 345 because of a flaw in the right horn which you can see in the photos if you look closely. I eventually got a fantastic deal on a 1959 Reissue ES-335 which I love. I just need to take it in for a professional setup which I'll be doing this week.

bluesrob
I love my 339. Dream guitar would be an L5, but I doubt I'll ever get one. Don't play well enough to justify it, anyway!
powerwagonjohn
I have a ES-225, ES-345 and my two L-4's, one acoustic and a CES model. Would a Johnny A count? Or maybe a Birdland. Thanks John
kaicho8888
Hmmmm Right now, I'm OK and have no GAS for another ES. Oh wait... maybe an ES Les Paul Custom in sparkle white.

charlie brown
I'm lusting after either an ES-345 w/o the Varitone, or an ES-355 without Varitone and with a Bigsby. But, WHO KNOWS, if I'll actually get either one??? LOL CB
moosesyr
I have an ES-339 but I'd love that wine red ES-275 that was on the Gibson webpage for so long. I'd put it on a stand and just look at it. I'd be like Nigel Tufnel, "don't touch it, in fact stop looking at it". 😄
