Im just wondering if that shiny chrome chills out a bit. I have a 20yo sheraton with almost silver pickups after the gold all worked its way off, and love the look, rather than bright and shiny. charlie brown Posted September 20, 2016 Share Posted September 20, 2016 Chrome (unless it pits and rusts, in those areas) remains "shiny!" "Nickel-silver" hardware, obtains a nice patina, after even a short time, quite often. So, if you WANT that nice "aged" patina on the metal parts, switch them out, for Nickel!
