Jim Wilson
I'm working on a new acoustic album (well, almost acoustic) and we have blended the voices of a Gibson J45, a Taylor acoustic, and a gut-string guitar, for some interesting sounds. On a couple of the songs, we've also used a Telecaster for that Bakersfield lick. It probably won't matter to most listeners, but it's sure fun to experiment in the studio. 62burst
That's nice. Was the blending done with something like Fishman Aura images of those guitars, or sampling, or overdubbing? It would be interesting to hear a little clip.
Jim Wilson
62burst, it was done with overdubbing. When the album is finished, I'll try to figure out how to post a selection.
