Pinch
One of the volume knobs on my Epi acts like this:you have to turn it a mm or so before it "takes", as if the knob isn't snug on the metal pin (?) it moves. What would cause that? It's not really a problem as long as it doesn't get worse. Been like that since I got it. More curious than anything else. Anyone familiar with something like that? Thanks. capmaster
Pots with push/pull switches usually have some idling due to the small play required between the shaped push rod and the inversely shaped pot tap axle's bushing. A "pot-only" control should have a snug fit of shaft and tap axle. Hope this helps.
Pinch
Aha! Forgot it was a push-pull knob (cue giggling Brits), since I never coil-split. It should be all right in the long run, then. Thanks, man :)
