Capota
So, I decided do change the knobs from my 2015 Classic and put some knob pointers. Much better than the Gibson speed dial that it came with. Here are some photos
merciful-evans
Every one I have seen have those knobs. How come yours had speed knobs in the first place? Former owner's idea?

I bought it new last month and it came with the speed knobs. The 2015 Classic (I think the 2015 range of Les Paul also) comes with speed knobs. Here is a photo of the first time I opened the case:
merciful-evans
My mistake! I had only ever seen black speed knobs and assumed those amber ones were the same as those you replaced. Now you've got me wondering what sort of knobs I have  ?!

Good choice switching them out. Those grooves or notches or whatever looked bad in my opinion.
kaicho8888
Speed knobs don't look "classic". You made your Classic LP look much better.
Pesh
+1 to the above; speed knobs are too big and just don't look right (IMO).
