jaxson50
Hat's off to Chuck Berry, turns 90 and releases a new album! Rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry celebrated his 90th birthday on Tuesday by announcing that his first album of new music in 38 years would be released next year. Called simply "Chuck," the album will consist mostly of new, original material recorded and produced by Berry, his record company said. http://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/music/chuck-berry-release-first-new-album-four-decades-n668601

IanHenry
I think we as guitar players are deeply indebted to Chuck. Without him there probably wouldn't have been the Beatles, Stones, Eric Clapton, Peter Green etc, the list could go on and on. Don't stop rocking Chuck. Tman
I can't wait either. When I first heard Johnny Cash's last album I thought it would be awful because he would sound so old. It was amazing. Love it. I will listen to this with the anticipation that it will be amazing too. The guy that wrote original riffs that inspired so many great songs writing something new after what he has seen and been through.

I saw him concert back in the 80s. My friend rocky and his parents were all big oldies fans and rockys favorite was chuck berry, so we got him tickets to a concert. But, we told him it was Carly Simon for his mothers birthday, he didnt really want to go, but went because he loves his mom. Once there the look on his face when Chuck Berry came out was priceless! He got so excited that we surprised him, he had the time of his life.
