danmercer214 Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Hi, I recently purchased a 3 pickup les Paul standard with two volumes, two tones and three way selector switch. I've rewired this twice, second time with new wire from switch. I'm getting a lot of noise which will quiet down when I touch the strings plus the bridge volume won't turn pickup all the way off when turned off. The first is for a standard Gibson Custom (3 pickup) rig, and the second is for the off chance that you have a push-pull switch beneath one of your tone knobs. I hope they do at least a good a job as the factory... sounds like you will be replacing things that don't need replacing. But please post here the results. I hope I am wrong.
