Dub-T-123
Ok I know we've done this before but the standby switch thread reminded me that some of you guys are hiding some cool amps. Yeah I'm talkin to you jdgm! Surfpup too! Makes me wonder what we have lurking in the corners here. Vintage, new, tube, solid state, it's all good just don't post your Line 6 Spider You've probably already seen my Twin here. I'm away from home so I can't take pics of my other stuff but this is the best one anyways :)

I use it for small beach bar style gigs. Ampeg PF350 bass rig
brad1
I have a few different amps. Most are lower wattage because I just play at home. This combo amp/cab is my favorite. It's a Peavey ValveKing Micro Head (20 watts) with a Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 110 cab (30 watts)

flyingarmadillo
Here are two of the Vox AC-15 H1TV with it's more obvious companions: Don't think I have any of the others (except the little GK Bass amp behind the Vox).
StRanger7032
This is my one and only amp, except for a Line 6 toy: Mesa Lone Star Special 1 X 12. It does anything I need an amp to do.
saturn
I hope this is still my amp! I took it in to be re-tubed over a month ago and still haven't gotten it back.

Brytam
My Amp history... My first amp was a 1972 Peavey Pacer 100 solid state amp. Really learned on this amp & I still have it! I played bass at the time & blew 2 speakers in this amp playing bass through it... Then I found out about TUBE AMPS...Heaven!! Bought a Fender "The Twin" amp: A monster both in sound, output & WEIGHT! Ended up selling it & bought a Fender Twin Reverb amp reissue. More usable as far as output but still a heavy tote! That was a GREAT amp but too much to haul around. Sadly, sold it & bought a Fender Deluxe Reverb reissue. I lost the 2 X 12 fullness (I really miss that) but the Deluxe Reverb has plenty of power for my needs, is tube heaven & easily carried!!
saturn
Here's my Roland Blues Cube that I've been forced to take to the last few gigs, 'cause my Carvin has been in the shop. I really wanted to get a pic of this cool "The Trooper" beer bottle.
rct
Directly behind me is the Champeen Hunnert, and to the right, out of the picture, is the Champeen Fawty for the bass player monitor and for the stereo goodness of the powerful Boss effects engine. Or something like that.
scottpaine_69
I'm now useing a new EVH 5150 III 50 watt 2X12 combo with my 4X12 Fender Mustang cab attached (The mustang head is now a backup) with a digitech RP1000.
quapman
Well,, nothing really lurking or cool. This is all I got. My HT Club 40 sitting on my old TNT150 I bought in 90 when I picked up the bass for a couple years. The thing is a tank. I hate carrying it. Which is why I bought this SB115. It's 200W and is 31 lbs. I answered and ad for a guitar player a few weeks ago. They had filled the position but called me a couple weeks later asking if I played bass. I auditioned and faked it well enough that they asked me to join. lol. So I bought this light little combo to carry to rehearsal. It sounds great. 'Scales
In the rehearsal place (a stripped out old caravan) I've got a couple of mid-90's Fender Princeton 112 Plus SS we use for guitars as well as the old 1981 Peavey Renown twin which the bass player uses to save bringing his main rig. This one for home or playing out if needed. Some lovely amps you all have and I'll get something good one day for my own satisfaction too, but frankly these things all do the job just fine for what we need right now. rct
I use one in the studio, and the bass one as well. Every guitar and bass track has these mixed in. 12 years now? Something like that, never a problem with them. rct
capmaster
Hello Capmaster. Are they any good? I was wondering about this brand as suspiciously huge amount of Behringer components are for sale second hand. Bence I use the desktop version at home and the rack version with the band through a Behringer A 500 poweramp and two EVM12L-loaded Marshall 1912 cabinets. The V-Amps are not perfect - some of the FX and the master volume pedal generate the infamous "zipper noise" when leaping up or down the 127 MIDI values via the Behringer FCB1010's expression pedals. Wah and gain setting don't. Now that was surprising! I just discovered how much this thing costs and what it does and it is incredible. A lot of stuff for 80€!!! It costed me 119€ in 2011. They didn't make them several years, but now they are back. Obviously there is some demand! I use one in the studio, and the bass one as well. Every guitar and bass track has these mixed in. 12 years now? Something like that, never a problem with them. rct I also have a Bass V-Amp PRO. Did you ever replace the RAM buffer battery? The desktop versions have a CR2032. I never opened up the 19" PRO version and don't have a clue where it is located.
