Mark Staples
I bought the guitar in '90 used. I've enjoyed playing it since, and lots. Now that I'm online, I'd like to know it's history a little, and see what it is I've been playing all these years.....this doesn't add up to me after some investigating for some reason. The hardware points to a GM4A?....the serial #N5039 says it should be an '87.... It's a flat-top strat style - black w/white binding(more of a cream color now) - 1 humbucker, 2 single (straight, not slanted) EMG's (active)- TransTrem - "STEINBERGER USA N5039" on the underside of the neck - it came with a large(and heavy) rectangular black 'STEINBERGER' hard case with royal blue velvet molded for this guitar inside, 6 sets of 'STEINBERGER' strings, and it appeared to never have never been played. Hope you can help.... Mark
