Guest Ron Emerson
I have a Gibson guitar as identified by Gibson as an ES-325. Although Gibson listed the model of the unit I have some doubts about the age and vintage. First the serial number 845526 dates the unit about 1969. Second the POT number CBA-811-1053 is listed as being used on 1965 units. The other number on the POT is AT-137-682. I understand the dating of Gibson is difficult at best but conflicting information gives me some doubt as to the actual age and model. If I were to sell the unit I don't feel comfortable listing the unit as a ES 325 and the date 1969 does not fit into the model vintage. If anyone could give some better information or a place to narrow down make and age it will be appreciated. Ron
JimR56
Gibson re-used some of their serial numbers in the late 1960' into the 1970's. If you look at the 1970's serial number list here: http://www.guitarhq.com/gibson.html#serial ... this guitar probably dates to around 1974.
