David Sousa
Hello guys! I need some advice. I have a Gibson 2014 signature, and would like to know if its possible to change the switch to a pot that functions like an on/off switch, and still maintaining the boost. Could be a push push pot, or a pot like PRS used in the pickup position switch, in the older custom 22/24. Thanks in advance
cjmwrx
Well, if it's the same as what went in the Studio Deluxe then yes. I was able replace my push/push pot with a good Bourns Push/Pull and was able to move the boost PCB to the new pot.
David Sousa
The one in the Signature series, is a mini toogle switch, and I would like to replace it with a push push pot. I don't know if it's possible.
mariushoog
I have been researching this issue extensively as well, as I would like to swap the turbo boost toggle switch in my LP Classic 2015 with a push/pull push/push. I know the LP 2014 Futura had a push/push turbo boost, however googled the life out of me, but so far not been able to find that part or even the part #. Guest Farnsbarns
Yes, just buy the pot of choice (push/push or push/pull, what ever), and wire it up. Assuming the current switch and pot are board mounted you might need to do some wiring but simple enough.
