I do have a question though do you keep the bass player clean and let the main guitar have the distortion or do you crunch the bass signal with distortion as well ? We recorded the bass with some distortion on it. In hindsight I think we recorded the guitar with to much gain on it. Mixing has been tough. Next time less gain on the guitar.
