Chet
This is me in the picture. I want to see if I can find a model like the one I am holding..... Any help would be appreciated. It was new 55 - 56 I think. I think it's a 125, not sure. Chet
pippy
Was it slimmer than a regular full-bodied jazz-box, can you remember? I'm not 100% sure but it looks like an ES-125 TDC.; i.e. an ES-125 Thin-line Double (pickup) with (Florentine) Cutaway. 1956 would fit-in nicely with this model. Hopefully an archtop person will be able to answer your question with more certainty! Nice guitar and pic, BTW! Pip.
ksdaddy
ES-225TD. The long trapeze tailpiece and neck binding gave it away. They made the one pickup version from 1956 to 1959. I would assume the two pickup version would be the same but I don't know for sure.

My (40-year-old) source book doesn't have a pic of the 225 but it does confirm the specs you mention and that the two-p'up version was offered from 1956. Very nice guitars! P. Versatile
It does indeed look like an ES 225..... Very fine guitar.... Steve Howe plays one on the Jon Anderson/Yes hit 'Wonderous Stories' ....alongside Rick Wakeman..... Dig it..... V
