Stevesturm
I suspect this might offend the purists... I'd like to get the sound of my Gibson Les Paul with my Casino. Are there pickups that would get me close? Thanks.

Isaac Hunt
There is more going on with the casinos sound than just the pickups It is a fully hollow body and will never sound like a Les paul no matter what pickups you put in it. Why do you want two guitars that sound the same anyway?
Parabar
If you want the looks of a 16" double cutaway and the sound of a Les Paul, you'd do much better with a Dot, Riviera or Sheraton with full-size humbuckers. The Casino, being fully hollow, will never have the kind of sustain or tone of a Les Paul no matter what pickups are in it. On the other hand, any of the semi-hollow models can get pretty close. Unfortunately, I already have the Casino and can't (yet) justify a 3rd guitar. I bought the Casino because I'm mostly playing un-amped while watching TV and an un-amped Les Paul doesn't sound so good. But... when I do plug in, I'm not a fan of the Casino's sound and wanted to get a sound closer to the Les Paul without having to go and get the Les Paul (it's in a different room - yes, I'm lazy). Revolution Six
Gibson P94, Lindy Fralin P92 should sound better

Wow. Casino pickups are different sizes than even Gibson P90s so whatever you switch them with you will have to cut up the guitar and re-route for the new pickups unless you replace the stock pickups with P90s that are specifically made for Casinos like Kent Armstrong Casino pickups. I have humbucker size Kent Armstrong P90s in one of my guitars and they sound great. I have a hard time imagining a bad sounding Casino.
rct
I have a hard time imagining someone attempting to make a guitar sound like a different guitar, one that it can't sound like, instead of just going down the hall and getting the one with the sound they want. rct

charlie brown
IMHO, for whatever it's worth, you should leave the Casino alone! Appreciate it, for what it does, so well. Want a humbucker equipped thin line, get a Dot, or Sheraton, as mentioned! Both great guitars, at awesome price points. CB
kidblast
If you're really jones'in for a LP sound, check out some of the newer Epi Les Paul models. Some nice options these days that wont break the bank account. Leave the Casino as is, they are unique in their sound as well.
