Killdevil
I am considering the purchase of a 2012 Gibson Nitrous Les Paul Studio. Does anyone have any complaints/dislikes regarding these guitars? Professional reviews that I have found from back in the day are all positive. But I can't find anything from actual purchasers/users. They are hard to find for sale, which makes me suspicious. Either not many were sold new, or owners don't want to let them go. Anyone here ever own one or play one? rct
Played a couple in the stores. It's a studio with a Skittles paint job. Nice guitars, I just think they missed with the paint. rct
capmaster
No pickguard, no poker chip, thus allowing for enhanced admiration of the finish. All kidding aside, solid Granadillo fretboard while rosewood was widely laminated in 2012 (even on a Custom Shop LP of mine!), otherwise built like a LP Standard, pickups of a LP Custom and added coil split options - what's not to like? I think if I owned one I wouldn't part with mine either. B)
