Looking for a guitar with a Casino type neck

I love my John Lennon Casino, especially the feel of the neck and the playability.

Was wondering what other Epiphone electrics have the same neck.

Thanks guys!

Len

All I can say is that my Dot and Wildkat have very fat necks when compared to my Casino. Maybe a Sheraton?

Or, maybe some time spent in either a brick/mortar store or the Epi site/specs would be more in order. Other than that, I'm of no help, so to speak.

Thanks for the input.

No dealers around me.

Even the specs on the site can be misleading. They say "Slim Taper C" or "Slim Taper D".

Dimensionally, they say either 1.68 inch nut width or 1 11/16 which is 1.6875. But nut width isn't always a good indication of the girth of the neck, as I'm sure you know. It helps to get a players opinion.

I love my JL Casino neck. But don't want another P90 guitar. I am looking for same size neck with humbuckers.

Thanks for your help

Len

Necks of individual instruments, even of the same model, can vary quite a bit. The neck on my Casino (Peerless) is fairly chunky, very similar to my B.B. King Lucille and Sorrento.

The neck on my Wildkat is slimmer than the one on my Casino. I like them both.

What he said. Ive had/played several Casinos and the necks all felt a little different. The closest thing that I've found to my '01 Casino's neck is the one on my Re Issue Sorrento. It, too, is a hollow body, but single cut away and mini humbuckers (that's how it came, I switched those out with DeArmond Rowe gold foils....). So while it feels similar, in many ways (neck, weight, etc), it sounds very different. I templated the necks on both my Casino and Sorrento, at the 5th and 9th frets and they match up in shape and dimension. A crude comparison, maybe, but better than eye-balling. Plus, I like the different headstock.
