omielo
Hello I would like to replace the pickguard on my SG Classic and wondering where I could buy that. I have tried a search on gibson.com but it returned nothing. I am also looking for the neck pickup cap. It would be great if someone could point me on a link to buy those two items. Thanks a lot Oliver.
darling67
Hey, Oliver. I have a Classic, as well (see avatar to the left) ... I have had WD Music make me pick guards for two of my SGs: My '50s Tribute (which didn't come with one), and my old '91 Standard (I misplaced the original). I can vouch for their quality. Excellent work! http://www.wdmusic.com/pickguard_sgcl_9000.html

darling67
Thanks a lot for the link ! Do you know if the spec changed between 2008 and 2010 (the year of mine) ? I do not know that bit of info. I can't imagine them changing... not sure why it would have changed. Mine is a 2010, as well... and the screw hole config looks the same as what WD has on their site. I doubt the P90s were spaced differently... but who knows? I would ask Virgil at WD if he knows. He may know more than us. Good luck!
