CarlosCastaneda Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 I have been meaning to replace the tuners on my Epiphone Dot to these more vintage style tuners http://www.realparts.com.au/tuning-machines/3-a-side/gotoh-sd90-kluson-style-3-a-side-tuning-keys-nickel.html Now since the bushings that come with these will not fit my 10mm holes I found these adaptor bushings that fit a 10mm hole http://www.realparts.com.au/tuning-machines/3-a-side/gotoh-sd90-kluson-style-3-a-side-tuning-keys-nickel.html The only problem is that when I took out one of the tuners to examine, I discovered that there was some finish inside the hole mainly on the edges, is this something to be concerned about before installing or should I get a vintage style sealed gear tuner.
