rct
To polish the frets what do you suggest ? Playing it! Seriously. I've never polished the frets of any guitar, I just play them to a shine. rct
Searcy
I have to agree. I've built a few guitars and basses and I've never polished a fret. Good looking guitar. Play it till it shines.
jdgm
Polish the frets with Duraglit Silvo (Silver Polish Wadding). Or whatever the USA equivalent is.....

kidblast
0000 steel wool will work just fine. you will also want some blue painters tape, cover the pickups with this tape, and use strips to cover / protect the fretboard There are shields you can get on amazon for cheap money too, (fret guards) but painters tape works fine too. pippy
SG is looking Good! On a side topic; In over 40 years of playing I've never had to polish frets on any guitar either. Why do some of us here find their guitars' frets need to be polished (aside from lack of play-time, of course)? I suppose mine get a bit of a clean-up when the strings are changed or the 'board is cleaned but polished? New to me. Not trying to be a smart-arse. Just curious. Pip. Wild Bill 212
A better picture , I LIKE THAT, A LOT ! IT LOOKS PERFECT, WOW ! I have never polished a fret though, don't think I ever even considered doin that. BUT any Silver polish should work, just cover the Fret-Board. Twang Gang
Sweet looking SG - I have used that polishing paper as well from D'Addario/Planet Waves it just makes them look nice, and according to the packaging "your guitar will play at it's best when your frets are clean and polished". Get some - Today.
