J-200 Koa

Recommended Posts

I expect many will disagree but I have never been that impressed with vintage Gibsons. All my favorites have been particular examples of new guitars.

There has been the rare exception (a particular 1938 L-00 springs to mind - another one from the same year wasn't) but mosty just overpriced, beaten up, smelly, dead wood for mine. Sorry...

Not worth the trouble or cost, unless you happen to have a neck sitting around and want to develop your luthier skills.

There are too many much better options. (This coming from a guy who loves to rescue orphan guitars.)
