Dennis G
Not sure if any of you got this (or even care LOL), but here's a pretty interesting articel on the Casino. http://www.epiphone.com/News/Features/2017/The-Long-and-Loud-History-of-the-Epiphone-Casino.aspx As a Casino owner, I enjoyed it. That was fun- loved the Rolling Stones clip from the Mike Douglas show even more than the Beatles clip.
Versatile
Many thanks Dennis G...... A link to some very interesting information about a totally iconic instrument..... It comes as no surprise that a quality tone machine like the Casino should be picked up by the Beatles And around the same time and later Become associated with The Stones, The Kinks, Paul Weller and many more top artists.... Parabar
I own a Casino and love it. But "ultimate electric archtop" is overstating the case. To me that nickname should belong to a Gibson L-5 CES or Super 400, or perhaps something by D'Angelico, D'Acquisto or Bob Benedetto.

Archtops have history.....cello guitars harking back to orchestral strings with 'f' holes.... IMO the Casino and ES330 move halfway towards a typical electric guitar in terms of easy handling and convenience whilst playing standing up..... And add that distinctive P90 edge which many players and listeners enjoy so much.... Also the small matter of record sales to consider.... V

sledge57
The video of Gary Clark Jr at the end made me get my Casino out, haven't played a guitar in months. Thanks.

It's great to see your iconic avatar again, Sledge! It still scares me a bit.
