kelly campbell
Good job for a self proclaimed amatuer..I too am curious about the guitar and I agree it is a quiet recording but the guitar work sounds good.
AnneS
Sing it, sir--reminds me not a little of Gordon Bok. Look him up, if you've not heard of him. Thanks for sharing.
Mojorule
Thanks Sal and Kel. The guitar is a 2011 Woody Guthrie SJ. Recording equipment is my budget and now discontinued smartphone. It really doesn't do justice to the guitar's sound and is weak in terms of volume. Some people would pay a fortune for the phasing effect, though. The TV SJ had neck binding and Kluson tulip tuners. The Woody has 3-in-a-line closed-back vintage button Klusons and no neck binding. Still has 20 frets, unlike the guitar it's supposed to be modelled on. Also has classic mahogany back and sides, whereas Woody Guthrie's actually had rosewood according to John Thomas.

Thanks also for the tip. I'd not heard of him, so am investigating now. I note that he's older than Dylan...
