GA-400 Crestline Tuckaway Head

Hello. I am friends with a former amplifier technician from the Kalamazoo, MI Gibson plant. He has given me a GA-400 Crestline "tuckaway" head and I'm curious about its value in terms of whether or not I want to rebuild / restore it or part it out. To the best of my knowledge, there were only 350 or so of these amplifiers made. According to my friend, he got this amplifier and its cabinet as a "broken second" and intended to bring it up to full working order in his spare time but never got around to it. I was unable to get the cabinet that goes with it. I was lucky that he still had the original schematic as even Gibson Nashville didn't have a copy of it.

Is this amplifier worth attempting to restore in your opinion? The chassis as it is would make a nice amplifier with places for 4 12ax7 and 2 6L6GC tubes but I don't want to begin hacking it up if the general consensus is that this amplifier has some historical or intrinsic value as a GA-400.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
