I really like the case as well. Do they only issue those with the TV's

I'm not sure what the criteria is but I've gotten this style case with a few guitars that were not TV

If you are lucky! A lot of them get separated from they're TV. They weigh a ton but look cool. I was happy to be rid of mine. I can't get myself excited about a case.

So I took a gamble and purchased a J-45TV online, sight unseen. Good lord I'm glad I did. This thing is without doubt the best guitar I've ever played and hasn't even been played in yet. Anyway here's some guitar porn for you lot:

the only issue I have is that the tuners are absolute garbage, does anyone have any recommendations for replacements?

Thanks!

Do you know what year it was built? Curious because I'm currently looking at a used one online.

Still loving the Bird TV, so much so that J-45 TV seems like a good sibling.
I'm not taking to my new to me stage deluxe so much--love the neck, but the wide body too big for my taste.

I was playing my J-45TV last night and an odd thing struck me. I'm able to play barre chords way more easily on it than I could achieve on the lower priced guitars I once had. I really don't know why as the others were all OK in many respects. It's got me thinking if this could be, but probably not as it's also a matter of technique I guess, why after a period of time many gravitate to higher end gits? Highly likely it's just my mind playing tricks, being in a better mood or the Sun being in the right quarter in conjunction with Mars.

A skinnier, more ergonomic neck on your '45? I doubt cheapo guitar makers care any more about playability than tone.

Congratulations on your acquisition. I am sure you will enjoy it for many years of playing.

I kept the pickguard on my J-45TV. Many don't like it (as much as I dislike the guard on a 'Bird which is why I won't buy one) but I tend to work on the basis of that's how it comes, so that's how it remains.

I'm the same re the Hummingbird. I just cannot get used to the pickguard.

This is a nice alternative:
