These would fall under the GOOD category:

Highly modded Dot

Elitist Casino (Bigsby added)

Squier Vintage Vibe Tele (apologies for the stock photo)

Bad would be my Thinline Tele (it's not a semi hollow or a Tele) and I have no photo's

I don't own any "Ugly's", at least IMHO anyway [flapper] .

When did the Gibson Duane Eddy come out? I always associated him with Guild Guitars. [confused]

According to the ebay ad (where I got the pic some yrs ago) it was around the time of the flood at Gibson, whenever that was.

The vendor also stated that the limited run was shortened as many were damaged/ruined in the flood, so there are only about 50 in total.

Based on an L-5, has a piezo pup in the bridge too.

The Ugly : Fingerbone Strat (its a nightinggale. Drab appearance, beautiful voice)

Wikipedia says Gibson produced it in 2004, which matches your timeline I think (flood), but not sure there is any evidence that he ever played one. [sneaky] Guild was first to produce a signature model in 1961, then Gretsch in 1997, and Gibson in 2004. Pretty sure his hits from the late 50s and early 60s he used a Guild. Not sure an L5 with some weird pickups and a piezo could produce the "Twang", but the tone was probably due to his technique anyway. Nice looking guitar though and probably quite rare. Did you buy it? Or just get the picture off the internet?

No I wish I had bought it now but couldn't afford the guitar and the UK import duty and VAT (another 23%).

Some more good:

There was an Artisan at Guitar Village recently in very good condition for it's age. They were asking £3,500 for it if I remember correctly. I really wanted to get it, but even on finance it would have been too much per month for me at the moment as I'm still paying off a couple of others. The Artisan is still high on my list of guitars to get someday.

I didn't realize those LP Artisans were going for so much money. The last time I saw one in the pawn shop I think it was like $2750 which I thought was pretty expensive. They had another LP that was getting more of my attention, it was a "Studio Custom" from the 80s. They look like a Custom but have dot inlays and the back isn't bound. I'm a sucker for 80s Les Paul Customs..
