Joe M
Just saw this on local CL. Never had seen a new LP with things like the different trc and pickup selector ring not installed. Is this the way Gibson is shipping them now??? https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/msg/6076792904.html
MichaelT
Yes, apparently so. Mine's a Standard T, says Standard on the truss rod cover. Mine did not come with a blank truss rod cover. It did not come with a pickup selector ring but I bought one and put one on it. It did come with a pickguard in the case but not attached. I think I'm leaving that off. It came with a cloth, strap, picture of guitar on bench at shop, multitool, owners manual, warranty/setup info. It looks like the Traditional comes with a few more extra goodies. And, if you can really get it for that price, go for it! I just noticed that! Wow!
Twang Gang
Looks like a "Poker Chip" for toggle and a plain truss rod cover are included - photo 2 shows them, plus the Gibson strap, multi tool, pick guard etc. Seems like a great price and it states it's new. Looks like all the stuff you would get coming from the factory. Not sure why it would be $550 less than the going price?
Ninastar1
Unfortunately, I did not manage to see as the link does not work.
Tim Plains
If you go to Gibson's website you'll see the 2017 USAs don't come with poker chips.
