MorrisrownSal
Back from laid back Sanibel/Captiva Florida.... This is a laid-back tune by a 1990s SKA band... The Slackers Its different than my normal style, but what the hey... Its three tracks. (1) guitar and vocal (2) vocal harmony (3) incredibly delicate and complicated harmonica http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YnXQhSLZfM

fretplay
Very different, I like it. The only thing you need is to be sitting under a banana tree.
Buc McMaster
Nice, Sal! Not your usual fare but very well done! How do you do the multitracking thing? I can't seem to figure it out. I have Garageband in the Mac but I don't know how to add additional audio tracks to the video........
MorrisrownSal
Thanks guys... imperfect, but fun to do. Fretplay - I ripped my take from the Slackers acoustic version.... banana tree included: Buc... this is what I have been doing: 1) Take 1 vocals and guitar... Apogee MiC, ipad.... zap the take over to garageband. Add a smidge of reverb. 2) Add the other tracks.... (the first track includes the video) 3) Export direct to desktop file, or to iMovie, add a "filter"... then... 4) Upload to youtube.
duluthdan
I wish I could see and hear these. but all I get is a big white empty square. I told my wife this morning that I really want to buckle down and get a grasp on this recording stuff. She said... no you don't...

MorrisrownSal
Ha Keith! I am not great with music tech. I "get by". I have to deal with so much tech in other parts of my life that I appreciate the simplicity of a Buc, Keith, Grunt, etc recording. Believe it or not I have my Jerry rigged method down so that I'm cradle to grave pretty quick. Wait did I say grave?
kwalker201
Well you got your recordings down very well, I will admit that my friend.
