Black pickguard for my Casino

Recommended Posts

Can't help you much with your questions but I have a 2010 Elitist Casino that came with a white p/g. I left the pickups stock and only added the Bigsby. What I can tell you is that the dimensions on the p/g you posted are approximately correct. Screw holes however...??

You may want to be sure they have a good return policy or look elsewhere on the internet (terrapin comes to mind, although I've never dealt with them).

In any event, enjoy your Casino, they're great guitars.

Terrapin did mine. I chose them because I wanted one that didn't have the bracket hole (I wanted to use the Gibson-style glue on type of bracket). There have been subtle differences in pickup locations, over the years so a custom made one will pretty much guarantee a perfect fit. With Terrapin, you can do that one of two ways. You can print out a full scale pattern and check it on your guitar. Then mark what changes you need and mail it off. I chose to send them my stock one, as a pattern. I found a magazine, put the pick guard in it )for protection), then sent it Media Mail, very cheap postage. Had them send both back, the same way.

I like the cleaner look of the screwless bracket mount and I got a guard that fit as well as the stock one. And it fits well in the family portrait.

Now, THAT's NICE!! [thumbup] [thumbup] Love the Black P-90 dog ear covers, and the black pick-guard!

With chrome, or nickel covers, white or NO pickguard would be MY choice. But, to

eash his or her own! [thumbup]

Another company you might entertain is "Creamtone!"

https://www.creamtone.com/

They made pickguards with that wider beveling, for my (3) '61 SG reissues.

They also told me they'd make any guard I wanted, as long as they could get

the materials requested, or if I supplied the blank sheets. They were good

people, to work with!

Good Luck, on your quest! [biggrin]

Not my guitar and not my place to say, but I'm glad you're happy. I would think a bit of "modding" is in order for the p/g to "fit" if you will, but that's just me. In any event, enjoy you're Casino.
