sjturbo
I have read or heard,(not sure which), That there is a difference between the "50's vintage wiring" and the late 50's early 60's,(59-61or2)wiring? Is the late 50's early 60's considered the "modern wiring"? I'm looking for a 59 wiring diagram. Thanks in advance.
pippy
I've never read anywhere that early '60s wiring was different in layout but certainly some of the components used were of slightly different specification. For example the early Les Pauls usually used 'Grey Tigers' instead of the Bumblebee capacitors used later and certain sources have shown that some (all?) Bumblebees used from late '59 were manufactured differently from those used earlier. Here's a link to '50s wiring; http://www.throbak.c...083654_orig.jpg Pip.
