oldflattop
Probably a silly and really obvious question, but my brain is failing me today. Does anyone know why all the fancier Epi models are referred to as "outfits?" Is it because they're all dressed up? - oldflattop
charlie brown
Not sure, but it may be because they include a case, and "documentation" Stuff??! It seemed to start in the versions made to accurate Kalamazoo spec's, including "Nitro" finishes, that were crafted in Japan, and only certain Epi dealers, elsewhere, had access to. But, lately, that seems to have been amended, somewhat, to include Epi's versions of so called "Re-issues." My newest Epi, is one that has that "Outfit" description, as well. Maybe, they'll be somewhat limited editions??? Only Epiphone/Gibson Marketing, know for sure. CB

It's what I would expect a department store to use, selling $59 guitars to soccer moms for their kids 7th birthday.
markleehunter
Hi, it does refer to the case. The term may sound a tad boy scout, but it's clear enough... once you know the meaning.
