Twang Gang Posted May 16, 2017 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Personally I don't care for them. A nice figured top but I'd rather see the wood grain in a natural finish, not purple or green. Also $5500 is pretty high - a new Standard can be had for about $2500 with push-pulls for coil tap, out of phase, and bypass. Seems like you'd be paying a lot for a bright color. I think I would like the purple more with silver hardware, non purple on the headstock, black and silver witch hat knobs. Pretty but not one I would buy, especially at that price.
