File under new country rock (for lack of a better term) that does not suck! The first song on this album is like a worm in my brain that I can't stop. But really all the songs are great.

Their sound is a nice mix of traditional instruments like fiddle and accordion with some crunchy electric guitar. Going to see them tomorrow too up in Thomaston, GA with the Old 97s.

Check it out...

Don't you just hate it when young people have talent?

Good Stuff, Kinda reminds me a lot of The Avette Brothers especially the first track. The rest is more edgier than them.

Yeah, I like the Avetts too. Unfortunately we drove 5 hours to central Georgia and the show got rained out, so I cannot report on the Turnpike Troubadours live delivery. [thumbdn]

July 21 they come to Houston. Hmmm, I think I may!
Thanks for the intro!

I spend a lot of time in my room with my instruments brooding and s%^t. It's cheaper than therapy.
