StRanger7032
Jerry Garcia's "Wolf" guitar just sold for $1.9 million! Garcia played this one along with his "Tiger" guitar for decades. Sounds like the buyer is a pretty cool guy too. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/jerry-garcias-wolf-guitar-sells-for-19-million-w485198
Twang Gang
Well in these situations it's not that the buyer is really paying that much for the guitar. It's a benefit auction and these uber-rich guys need the donation write off so in this case the Southern Law whatever got a bunch of dough (I don't know what they do), and the buyer got a guitar that he loves cause he was a deadhead, and big tax write off. A win-win I guess.

A win-win I guess. the SPLC specializes in civil rights and is a non-profit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Poverty_Law_Center And I agree, it sounds like a win-win all around. merciful-evans
I would be content with just playing either of those Irwins for just a couple of minutes. Just to feel what its like you know? After all, I have been listening to them for a lot of years.
