rednebb
Hello, I discovered something strange: According to the photos on Epiphone's own site and also on various retailers' sites, the Epiphone SG Vintage G-400 worn cherry seems to have neck binding, unlike all other (non-Ltd. or signature) Epi SG models, including the more expensive G-400 Pro, and even the same model (Epiphone SG Vintage G-400) in worn brown. You can see it here in the link below: just click on the colour buttons, and the neck "magically" changes from no binding on the worn brown model, to white binding on the worn cherry model. This seems kinda strange..? http://www.epiphone.com/Products/SG/Worn-G-400.aspx

The Ebony came with a bound neck and headstock. The Cherry Sunburst did not.

I think 2006 was the year it stopped However the old stock photos still crop up from time to time on websites. Usually someone catches the mistake and the updated photo is in place before long
