I just went into the Gibson store to buy an Epiphone ballcap, since I own 7 Epiphones,I figured it was only fitting that I show my allegiance to the brand by wearing the cap for all to see.The caps appear to be very well made and is made of 100% cotton, not foam and mesh like the cheap trucker style caps that usually sell for much more than $9.99.I filled out the order form and was pleased to see that they sell and ship their products to Canada however I nearly took a dump in my pants when I saw that delivery of my $9.99 ball cap was a whopping $62.99 U.S. which works out to close to $80 Cdn. I have ordered much heavier and bigger items from the U.S. for only a fraction of that cost.If Gibson/Epiphone doesn't want to sell their products to people who reside out of the U.S. why don't they just say so,rather than jerk people around and insult and frustrate them with exorbitant shipping costs. Are you reading this Gibson/Epiphone sales team?

That does seem excessive for something like that. Sure it was for the cap? If so, I'd consider Brad's offer.

Personally, I'd rather have a T-shirt or something. Don't really like that style of cap and haven't worn one since LITTLE LEAGUE 50+ years ago. But then, it isn't MY head, so good luck with your effort.

Whitefang PS: I'd say that your owning SEVEN Epis is loyalty enough. In light of that fact, they SHOULD make it COMPLIMENTARY! ;)

That is crazy. I'd send it back and let them pay for the shipping both ways. Tell them it was the wrong size.

I didn't think shipping to Canada was that much. Next day priority shipping wasn't selected, was it?

I agree with Pinch. We need "the rest of the story."

How much is the "Gibson" patch to put over the Epiphone logo?
Sent via two tin cans connected by a string and a jailbroken Atari 2600...
