surfpup
Treble bleeds and Vitamin Ts? Yep! I've been making treble bleeds out of those old parts my brother in law found... Ohmite carbon comp resistors and old Sprague caps. .0022 tone caps? You got it.

surfpup
.0022 tone caps? What kind of adjustment do you get with 0.0022uf? Not nearly as much as I should! I just played it today and looked inside again and noticed the extra zero! DOH! What a dumba$$! And those suckers have been lying around awhile so I don't even know where I got them. They don't sound bad mind you The tone knob has a lot less effect on the tone - not necessarily a bad thing if you prefer a more subtle tone adjustment. But I think I'll order the right ones soon. Riffster
Well, if they are Mojo, you had to get them from MojoTone. Since they sell amp kits and components they have all kinds of values.

True - but those pop up on eBay a lot too, so I may have gotten them there. I ordered the "correct" ones yesterday.
