zombywoof Posted July 6, 2017 Share Posted July 6, 2017 According to Gruhn, the BR-3 was not introduced until 1946. So who knows. I have seen a couple of BR-3s built in 1946-47 but have never even heard of one built earlier. I love lap steels and own two. Both are Supros (a single and a double neck). The Valco "strings through" pickups on the lap steels have have become near legendary. Even Ry Cooder slapped one in the bridge position of his Coodercatser.
